I absolutely love the original Eight Hour Cream skin protectant* (15% off with code REALLYREESPH). It was a discovery for me in my early twenties when I read in a magazine that Posh Spice used a tiny touch on her cheekbones for luminosity. It has since been with me for almost thirty years! I even used it on my son’s nappy rash when he was a baby. He is 21 now!
The idea of an easy to use body version in a pump bottle was so appealing to me! I moisturise from head to toe every single day and it is a really important part of my beauty routine. I use fake tan products fairly regularly, and they can be quite drying, so I find it important to moisturise the skin on my body every single day. I know lots of people that say they can’t be bothered to moisturise their bodies every day, but with products like this, it is literally so easy to do.
With this Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Daily Hydrating Body Lotion, I just use one pump per area (eg arms, half leg, etc) and the texture is so light that it sinks into so quickly and effectively. In spite of its light texture, it is still very hydrating and moisturising, and it leaves my skin super soft, smooth and really healthy-looking and luminous.
It makes my skin feel really comfortable and soothed, so it will be perfect if you suffer with dry skin but hate a heavy or sticky feeling. It is the ideal all-year-round body perfector.
The Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Daily Hydrating Body Lotion has a nice scent and I have to say, I do like my body products to have a soft fragrance. This makes me feel extra clean and fresh. And because it is non-greasy and absorbs into the skin nice and quickly, I can get dressed comfortably straight away. This makes it idea for day and night time use.
Also, I love this big bumper bottle. It looks great in my bathroom and the pump makes applying all over the body an absolute cinch. It means you can get your whole body moisturised in seconds and there’s absolutely no excuse not to do it. Love it! I can feel another true addiction coming on.
