Q – My cast iron pan is getting rusted. Why?

A-Cast iron is susceptible to rust as per its basic property being of iron. Even a well-seasoned pan can rust if it’s left in the sink to put for dishwashing, allowed to air dry, or stored in a moisture-prone environment. There is no need to throw away a cast iron skillet if it gets rusty. Simply scrub it with salt or mild soap and warm water, dry it with a towel and apply a layer of oil, and store.

Q – Does RUDRAECO cast iron cookware have a non-stick coating?

A – No, RUDRAECO cookware doesn’t have any Teflon / chemical coating. It is naturally non-stick because of the pre seasoning that is done with % vegetable oils.

Q – My RUDRAECO cast iron pan color is fading. Why?

A -The black surface on the cast iron is created by a process called seasoning, which involves partially burning oil into pan’s surface to create a layer that protects the pan from corrosion and prevents food from sticking. It is perfectly safe to use the pan if the black layer is removed and it can be restored with ease.

Pre seasoned : RUDRAECO Cast Iron cookware is pre-seasoned with 100% vegetable oil to create a chemical-free non-stick surface over it so that its ready to use from the 1st use itself giving a rich experience.
Care : Simply hand wash with gentle soap or scrub with regular salt and water and dry thoroughly. Apply a layer of oil and keep aside when not in use. Easy care: hand wash, dry, rub with cooking oil. Don’t worry if rust is formed. Just scrub it with regular salt and water and apply oil and its ready to use back.
Healthy : Unlike Non stick, aluminium and other pots, cooking in RUDRAECO cast iron is very healthy. It requires less oil to cook and gives traditional taste to the food adding iron content to it.
