I was incredibly excited to try the new ANFORH Texture Volume Spray for hair from Digital Creator and grooming expert, Robin James AKA Man For Himself. It was no surprise that it is an excellent product. Here’s what you need to know.
My Review
I have fairly thick hair, which is something I like, but it does mean that it’s pretty heavy and can get a little flat at times. I always want movement and bounce and a bit of swish.
If you like silky, soft and slippy hair, this maybe isn’t for you, but if you want to give your hair some grip and guts, this will certainly do the trick. The mist is super fine and I think the delivery system has been nailed. It’s very elegant.
How I use it
Sprayed into damp hair, and focused on the roots, it gives my style a lovely lift that has really good reworkable hold. Throughout the day, I can simply massage the root area to reactive the product, and give my hair a volume boost.
The more product you use, the more volume you get so it’s completely customisable.
If you are a Dyson Airwrap user (review here) and you find that the waves you create with the barrel attachments don’t last too well, the ANFORH Texture Volume Spray will be the perfect product to lightly mist onto each section before you wrap. It will just give the hair that added texture and style memory to create a longer lasting finish. I recommend allowing the hair to cool thoroughly before touching it or pulling out the waves.
Airdrying Your Hair
This is also a great product to use if you want to airdry your hair. Airdrying is a pretty big trend right now, even though there are some that say that blow drying hair is less damaging than airdrying. Read Air Drying Hair Is More Damaging Than Blow Drying for more on that.
If I can’t be bothered to dry my hair properly, I find that spritzing TSV into the lengths and then scrunching it in gives a nice beachy texture with added volume and hold. I have super straight hair and this works well for me.
Also, this will of course be a great product for the guys for adding texture, volume and shape to the hair.
The Fragrance
It has a really gorgeous unisex scent that would give you enough of a fragrance that you could actually skip your perfume if you wanted to. The first time I tried ANFORH TSV, I was complimented on my fragrance and I hadn’t actually remembered to wear any!
It has a blend of bergamot, rose and nagarmotha. It’s lovely.
