Binge on some great TV shows for nothing if you’re a Sky customer, here’s how
Sky has announced all its customers can get access to Hayu for free, for three months, in celebration of the channel launching on Sky Q. Hayu is already available on both Sky Stream and Sky Glass but it is new to the Sky Q offering, meaning all Sky customers can now access Hayu’s library of content.
Hayu is home to some great TV shows, including Below Deck (a firm favourite of ours at The Ambient), alongside The Real Housewives and Vanderpump Rules. It is also home to Million Dollar Listing, which will make you want to redecorate your home and add even more smarts to it within a matter of seconds of turning that show on.
In order to access Hayu on Sky Glass and Sky Stream, you don’t even need to open the app. Instead, you can say “Hello Sky, play The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” to your Sky Glass, or speak to the remote for Sky Stream and it will open up.
For those on Sky Q, Hayu is located in the apps section of the Sky Q interface, bit you can use the Sky Q remote to launch the app but saying “Hayu”.
The offer of three months free access to Hayu is valid from 9 April 2024 to 8 May 2024 and it is available to all Sky customers, as long as they have an existing subscription with Sky. You will need to cancel within the three-month trial period to make sure you aren’t charged once the three months is up, and there’s is only one three-month trial available per Sky customer.
Following the three-month trial, Hayu will automatically renew at £4.99 a month. If you’re a Sky VIP customer, you can claim the free three-month Hayu trial through Sky Marketplace or by saying “Sky VIP Hayu” into your Sky remote. We highly recommend trying Below Deck first – there are plenty of seasons and versions to binge your way through and you might just about have time to get through it all in that three-month trial if you’re quick!
