What is most impressive about the new upgraded The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid formula is the beautiful new texture. It is super fine and silk-like, which means it spreads over the skin very easily and sinks in really quickly.
Unlike the previous formula, it doesn’t leave any feeling of stickiness and practically vanishes into the skin. It leaves the complexion looking smooth and plumped.
As well as the texture enhancements, it is great to see that Ceramides have been added into this serum formulation. This means that it will work even more effectively at reducing water loss which in turn will help to maintain and protect the all-important skin barrier.
All in all, this is a gorgeous serum that feels way more expensive than its price tag, and will fit in beautifully into any routine if you are looking to boost hydration and improve barrier function.
